Hi all beautiful ladies sekian, (and beautiful guys lol). I have so many things to post but then kekangan masa membantutkan segalanya. Oh well. Semalam aku kemas bilik and u know what, vanity table aku semak gila. Koleksi make up macam magically beranak-pinak, so segala kotak-kotak dah tak mampu untuk menampung barang yang ada.
So I was thinking to buy a new makeup storage, tapi serious memang malas nak keluar rumah and keluar duit untuk pergi beli. Oleh itu, dengan kerajinan yang dialami semalam, aku datang dengan idea untuk buat kotak sendiri yang boleh customize ikut suka hati.
So this is the end look of it. Sekali pandang macam kotak yang dijual dekat Ross or TJ Maxx. Lol. I think it looks cute and elegant (minus the tape on the ribbon coz i was so lazy to glue it on).

So all you need is:
A box
Duct tape
Colored paper
Glue
Tape
Measuring tape or ruler
Pencil or marker to mark
Scissor
Sory aku takde gambar sepanjang buat benda ni coz I thought you guys could imagine yourself how to do it just by looking at the end result. So yeah. Just imagine!
Tapi kepada sesiapa yang still blur-blur lagi, takpe here's the instruction. But again, you still have to imagine the steps coz I dont have the photos.
1. Measure height and width ikut suka sendiri nak besar and tinggi mana. Make sure gunakan makeup yang ada untuk ukur, so that your makeup would sit perfectly in the box according to their size.
2. Start memotong ikut yang dah plan. Boleh je nak buat compartment macam, instead of 2 compartments pada kotak aku, korang boleh buat 4 or 6 or ikut suka lah.
3. Balut luar and dalam kotak tu dengan kertas berwarna or pembalut hadiah. Since aku takde kertas berwarna yang cantik or pembalut hadiah, aku just guna kertas drawing charcoal aku untuk balut bahagian luar, and untuk bahagian dalam aku guna kertas A4 pink. Make sure balut kemas-kemas. Untuk part ni aku banyak pakai gam and tape.
4. Using masking tape, balut all the edges. You could be creative with it. Sila tengok balik gambar di atas untuk tengok cara aku balut. (FYI pada yang masih belum perasan, masking tape aku bercorak zebra)
5. And for the final touch, boleh lah tampal reben, labuci, sticker or tulis nama pada kotak tu. Whatever you want, depends on your creativity. That's all!
So this is how it looks like on my dressing table yang sangat sempit ni.
Ok now masuk topik lain pulak. How I organize my makeup. I know makeup collection aku tak banyak mana, but I dont know. Maybe this would help you guys in sorting out too? Selama ni makeup aku tak tersusun, just campak dalam bekas purple yang kat dalam gambar atas ni. I find it hard to find my stuff sebab semuanya berselirat dengan sepit rambut, krim rambut, pelembab, primer and so on. So now my makeup is more organized and lagi senang dicapai since adanya storage box ni.
Bahagian kiri untuk foundation, blusher, bronzer, correcting powder, compact powder and all the palettes.
Bahagian kanan pulak untk lipstick sahaja coz obviously, I'm a lipstick junkie.
Maybe it's weird to some of you why aku susun lipstick aku ke bawah macam ni. Well personally, it's easier for me to find what color that I want just by looking at the code sticker. So save time dekat situ!
