Graduation Dinner 2013

Last Friday, me and my team organized a Graduation Dinner to celebrate our seniors who are graduating this semester. I didn't joined the last year's one so I dont know what to expect. I just did my job, which is to make gift for them. Well, the gifts dont turned out as what I anticipated it to be. They look less interesting than what I imagined so it was a bit bummer.


I also couldn't help but feel a bit malu, so I hid from the crowd when they were giving the gifts to the seniors. Well basically, I thought of making something different than before because you know, get away from the typical. But because of lack of budget, it's hard to achieve. Ok so basically I wanted to do a survival kit for them since they are graduating. It's a survival kit to 'help' them in their future, whether they want to pursue higher education or to join the work force but in a funny way lah just for fun.


It has 6 items in the basket, and those are:

1. Air freshener: In case it stinks in your cubicle
2. Sponge: To soak all the knowledge
3. Post-it note: So you wont forget anything
4. Band-aid: In case you get a papercut and a short-term solution to a huge problem
5. Paper clips: So you can hold things together
6. Chocolate: For all the breaks you will need and to remind you that laughter is the best medicine.


Well, most of the people told me that it's a great idea and cute, but I just think that they just want to make me feel good. Haha! If you dont trust me, look how ugly they are! (ok ugly is a strong word). Look how unappealing they are!
