I was looking around for some inspirations and subjects for me to draw for my final drawing for art class. But couldn't resist the temptations to snap some beautiful scenery around my house. It's spring season right now and the flowers bloom like nobody's business. It's all colorful and beautiful.
Every photos are not edited. Cause I'm lazy like that. Hehe. I only used Sony digital camera to capture these photos. No fancy schmancy dslr, so please excuse the photos. Im not intended to show any photography skills here (although I wish I could). Lol.

Graduation Dinner 2013
Last Friday, me and my team organized a Graduation Dinner to celebrate our seniors who are graduating this semester. I didn't joined the last year's one so I dont know what to expect. I just did my job, which is to make gift for them. Well, the gifts dont turned out as what I anticipated it to be. They look less interesting than what I imagined so it was a bit bummer.
I also couldn't help but feel a bit malu, so I hid from the crowd when they were giving the gifts to the seniors. Well basically, I thought of making something different than before because you know, get away from the typical. But because of lack of budget, it's hard to achieve. Ok so basically I wanted to do a survival kit for them since they are graduating. It's a survival kit to 'help' them in their future, whether they want to pursue higher education or to join the work force but in a funny way lah just for fun.
It has 6 items in the basket, and those are:
1. Air freshener: In case it stinks in your cubicle
2. Sponge: To soak all the knowledge
3. Post-it note: So you wont forget anything
4. Band-aid: In case you get a papercut and a short-term solution to a huge problem
5. Paper clips: So you can hold things together
6. Chocolate: For all the breaks you will need and to remind you that laughter is the best medicine.
Well, most of the people told me that it's a great idea and cute, but I just think that they just want to make me feel good. Haha! If you dont trust me, look how ugly they are! (ok ugly is a strong word). Look how unappealing they are!
Tips Mudah untuk Telan Pil
Seumur hidup aku tak pernah ada masalah untuk telan pil since aku berumur 11 tahun. Cuma baru-baru ni aku start ambil vitamin. Vitamin tu agak panjang dalam 1 inci and rasa dia masam sangat. So tekak aku macam tak boleh terima nak telan. Masa beberapa hari lepas beli vitamin tu aku ok je boleh telan. Cuma after 3 days, somehow tekak aku dah tak boleh terima. Then masalah tu berlanjutan selama 7 hari, and that's when I realized that tekak aku memang tak boleh terima pil ni.
Bayangkan berapa banyak pil yang terbuang sebab aku tak mampu nak telan? That costs money ok (from my pocket, of course I do care). So inilah masanya untuk dapatkan tips berguna daripada Youtube! Ada beberapa video yang aku tengok but these two are the most helpful.

Seriously rasa macam nak congratulate myself sebab berjaya after a week tak makan vitamin. Kalau lah korang tahu pelbagai jenis benda yang aku buat dalam tempoh seminggu tu mesti stress. Sampai sekali tu aku minum 5gelas air sekaligus semata-mata nak telan tapi tak berjaya jugak. Ukur lilit pinggang pulak daripada 26 inci jadi 31 inci sebab penuh dengan air. Tak pernah lagi pinggang cecah lebih daripada 28 inci so agak horror la. Lol.
Ok tu jelah perkongsian hari ni. Aku tak kata which way yang betul atau salah. Untuk sesiapa yang mengalami masalah sukar telan pil ni, try la cuba kedua-dua tips tadi and tengok lah korang sesuai dengan cara mana. Selamat mencuba and jangan putus asa! Hehe.
Indonesian Cultural Night
Semalam aku pergi ke cultural event. This time it's Indonesian Cultural Night. I love any country's cultural night coz boleh experience and kenal culture lain dengan lebih mendalam. Selain tu boleh bersembang dengan kaum lain pasal negara diorang. Like semalam masa Indonesian cultural night punya booth, dia ada pamerkan mi goreng segera Indonesia. And dia cakap dekat Indonesia, dia panggil semua mi segera ni Indomie, berbeza dengan negara kita. Kita panggil semua brand Maggi. Haha! Aku macam dah takde topik lain dah cerita pasal maggi. Next week Korean punya cultural night pulak. Nak pergiiii....
Ini merupakan kali pertama Indonesian di Penn State organize cultural night ni, sedangkan Malaysian student dekat sini dah organize banyak kali, setiap tahun. So aku nak jugak tengok dorang punya first time macam mana. Permulaannya, lelaki yang jaga kaunter pendaftaran tu cute jugak. Haha! Then bila masuk dewan, ramai Malaysian ada dalam tu.
Banyak persembahan tarian. Tapi yang hairan, orang yang perform dia lah yang jaga booth makanan, dia lah yang jaga kaunter, dia lah yang jaga booth pameran... Senang cerita diorang recycle semua orang. Bila aku cakap dekat kawan aku, dia kata Indonesian di Penn State cuma ada 17 orang je. Padanlaaaa... Compare dengan Malaysian dekat Penn State, ada dalam 200 orang lebih kurang. So agak kagum dengan diorang yang cuma ada 17 orang tapi mampu nak organize event macam ni.
